Why PC Gaming Is Better Than Console Gaming
While the PC market is going down, it is still twice the size of console market share today. Although the big upgrades that both Microsoft and Sony have made in the past few years to help benefit console gaming, the power of these systems are mid range at best compared to a well built gaming PC. While console fans are fighting over 900p vs. 1080p, PC has been able to achieve this level of graphics for years and has even started to introduce 4K (4x 1080p).
In my opinion, I will always consider PC's a much more superior system to game on. Although the initial price of a high end gaming PC can be much higher than a next gen console, over the long run, it's a different story. PC games cost much less than consoles games in most cases and that's not even considering massive Steam sales that occur daily. Not to mention, games will always run better on a PC, no matter what. Games are developed and tested first on PC's before being ported onto consoles which gives them quite the edge against consoles, plus the fact how much farther PC graphic cards like the GTX 900 series, or 5th generation core i7 processors from Intel have come. If you're a true gamer and you really want a lot of power in your system that you can be proud of, then I strongly suggest building a PC.

I don't have a good PC, so I can't appreciate this better method of gaming. But, thanks for explaining why it is better. Now, I finally understand what Arman and T.E.D. are talking about all the time. It was surprising for me to hear that the PC has better sales than the next gen consoles; but I did know that they run better. I have to play all my games on next gen consoles and they don't always work well.
ReplyDeleteI have always been a console gamer. I have not had much time to play these games. A good friend of mine, Arman, has shown me that PC gaming is amazing. I played a few of my favorite games on my console. He let me play it on his PC. He has a high end computer, the graphics were amazing. I was able to add mods to the game and it was more enjoyable. The mods made it fun and I was not able to experience that on my console. I hope you continue to make articles like these to show people what the true meaning of PC gaming is.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that PC is better but as you said, they can be a very hefty price. these computer though, can last a long time and allow you to enjoy games featured by both types of next and old-gen consoles. With all these responsibilities that all of us are receiving, however, there is not very much time to be able to play games and when you do, there is still the dread of having to go back to working after the oasis-type break. Though I enjoy playing computer games, my computer is getting older and does not support some of the newer games. As a result, I play on consoles, as does many other people. This however, is a down-side because computer games are much cheaper than console and are usually at a high resolution. If you are a hardcore type of gamer the the PC would be what you are looking for.
